Kim Ackerman is a self-taught artist whose evocative acrylic texture paintings celebrate the beauty of nature, focusing on serene beaches, expansive skies, soft clouds, and tranquil waters. Inspired by her life on the lake and the breathtaking sunsets she admires at the beach, Kim’s work offers an invitation to relax, escape, and imagine yourself within the peaceful scenes she creates.

With a growing portfolio of exhibitions, her art has been prominently displayed for three months in the offices of the Governor and Assistant Governor. A former member of the Monroe Arts Guild and a current member of the Bowen Arts Center, Kim continues to cultivate her passion for painting while engaging with the artistic community.
